At the end of 2009, Lithuanian branch of Bureau Veritas Certification (BVC) carried out re-assessment of First Data Lithuania Quality Management System in compliance with the new version of the international standard ISO 9001:2008 requirements. The company was awarded by the Certificate of Approval (UKAS accreditation, U.K.). Newly obtained ISO Certificate will be valid until 21st of November 2011.
This is already third time from 2002 when for the first time the company was successfully certified by and passed through the independent BVC audit. During the period an effectiveness and compliance of the Quality Management System is maintained continuously by the staff, the system being annually supervised by BVC auditors.
The quality standards cover all business processes that affect the company's emerging products and customer service quality. ISO 9001:2008 (BS EN ISO 9001:2008) establishes requirements not only for the quality management system and documentation, but also business planning, resource management, engineering, product marketing, customer service processes, as well as measurement, analysis and continuous improvement of the business processes.
Retained eight years in a row, Quality Certificate is not only a "paper" but the real confirmation that the actual quality of processes fulfils statements of Quality Policy and the strategic objectives, adequately satisfying client needs and nourishing the commitments assigned by the commercial agreements. The certificate demonstrates the company's management team's ability consistently and effectively manage the business processes, monitor and improve, while ensuring a high level of their products (services) quality and standing of the customer requirements and expectations of the fulfillment of the intensive development of business.
